Veronica Vaz

Veronica Eunice Vaz graduated in 1991 with a Bachelors of Laws from the University of London,  LL.B (Hons) London. Her initial career was in the academic line, as a Lecturer of Laws for over 20 years. She went on pursue a Masters Degree in Law, graduating in 1997 with a LL.M (Merit) London.

She started active practice in 2003, first as a Legal Assistant in Messrs Kuppusamy Rengga & Associates (2003-2008) where she undertook work dealing with General Civil Litigation, Compulsory Acquisition of Land and Probate & Drafting of Wills.

She continued her career as a partner in Messrs Veronica Shariffudin Chegne &  Partners(2008-2013) undertaking the Civil litigation matters of the firm, mainly involving breaches of Contract/Commercial Agreements before taking a break in her career to devote time to raising her young daughter.

She moved to Victoria in 2016 and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2019 on the recommendation of the Victorian Legal Admissions Board, having satisfied its prerequisites by undertaking studies in Constitutional and Administrative Law at Australian Catholic University (ACU).

She currently practices in the area of Wills and Probate.
