
Overview
Sophie is an experienced commercial lawyer with a strong commitment to helping clients navigate legal matters with clarity, confidence, and practical insight.
Graduating in 2010 from Deakin University Burwood, Sophie holds a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Economics with Distinction) and a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours). Sophie completed her legal traineeship at Melbourne-based commercial firm Pointon Partners in 2011 and was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2012.
After several years practicing in Melbourne, Sophie returned to her roots in Gippsland in 2015 and has been practicing locally ever since.

Sophie’s expertise spans a broad range of commercial law matters, including business sales and acquisitions, commercial leasing, employment law, consumer law, and intellectual property law. In addition, she has extensive experience in estate planning and litigation, including the preparation of wills and powers of attorney, and advising in complex estate disputes.
Sophie advises a diverse range of clients – from individuals and small businesses to large corporate entities. She is known for her straightforward, down-to-earth approach and takes pride in delivering clear, practical advice tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
Outside the office, Sophie enjoys spending time with her young family.
